VonKraft's Penhouse

*Herald VonKraft waits in the top room of the Anubis Ind. tower, looking down at the cold, dark desert below. His office draped in reds and golds, and a large picture of a man in a lab coat with a robotic arm resides on a wall near the large window in the back of the office*

The elevator doors open, and Zor steps out glancing around him.

Jasper follows him out of the elevator, looking at the room in awe.

*VonKraft turns, smiling as he sees the two. He sips the last of his wine as the doors close behind the pair of wastelanders.* Zorua Banks, it's been a long time. How are you?

*VonKraft then looks over to the new face* And you... You just happened to be a passer-by. I'm sorry for your,how shall I put this... Inconvenience.

"VonKraft? Well I've been better how have the last three hundred years treated you?" Zor asks a slight smile slipping onto his face, his hand reaching out to shake the hand of his wife's old friend.

Jasper waits for Zor and VonKraft to finish their interaction before saying: "I've had my fair share of inconveniences, so it doesn't bother me much, sir..." Jasper says formally, not wanting to piss off the man with armed guards.

*VonKraft nods, not extending his hand to shake* I make it a habit not to shake hands with people I meet. No offense meant, but I'm a very... Cautious man since the world ended. As for how the years have treated me... Look around you. *He waves a hand over the luxurious room* I'm probably one of the most powerful men on Earth right now.

*He then looks to Jason* That's good to hear. I'm Herald VonKraft, by the way. CEO of Anubis Ind.

"I'm glad to hear your doing well; so what's the word around the wastes?" Zor asks pulling his hand back; he takes his cig from his mouth puffing some smoke out, taking another glance around the room.

Jasper smiles and nods. "I'm going to pretend like I know what that is, sir." He says in the nicest way possible

*VonKraft laughs a bit, walking back behind his desk and taking a seat* Come, sit down, I know how tiring the desert can be for those without proper transport.

As for the 'word around the wastes', I'm afraid I can't tell you Mr. Banks. Knowledge is power after all.

Zor sits in the chair, a scowl adorning his face, "Well I had transport... then I got a flat right outside your tower..."

Jasper walks over to the desk, taking a seat opposite VonKraft and adjacent to Zor, surprised by the overall generosity of their host.

I'm sorry to hear about that, the sand hides a lot of dangers. You should drive a bit more carefully, Zorua. *VonKraft pours three glasses of the blood red wine, passing it to the two visitors* A drink?

Jasper, as thirsty as he may be, politely declines the drink with a shake of his head.

"That would be lovely, thank you for the offer," Zor says, grateful he had brought a spare tire with him.

*He nods, sipping the wine generously before looking to Jason* Now now, I insist that you have at least a sip. It's quite good.

The elevator opens, revealing a youthful sixteen year old girl with long white hair and pale skin. “Vonkraft, we have successfully obtained the prison." She takes careful steps into the room "You now have it as well as it’s supplies in your posess-” She freezes, looking at the two seated men having conference with Vonkraft. “Am I disturbing something?”

Zor takes a sip, before his eyes widen; forcing it down, "d-delicious."

*VonKraft's smile widens, before noticing Alice* Oh, sister... What a pleasant surprise. I was just catching up with Mr. Banks and his new associate Mister- What's your name good sir?

She keeps a stoic face as her fingers tap on the hilt of her Sabre. "In what way?"

Well... Just enjoying a glass of wine with them, my beloved sister. *he gives a sly smile and leans back in his chair* So, the Prison is ours? Very good.

"Apparently, It had been abandoned. I found one metal box that was locked... however, I kept closed out of courtesy."

"My names Jasper, by the way..." He mutters under his breath as the two have their own little conversation.

Understood, I suppose our old ally felt it would be best to leave then. Now, *VonKraft stands and looks down at the two guests* I'd like you to escort these two out, please. Seeing as you're the cheif of security.

It was nice meeting you Jasper, and nice seeing you again Mr. Banks.

"Are you sure you want to turn away such an able bodied individual? and the quivering whelp that is Banks?"
