Lower Barracks room f1616

The room is regularly furnished with blank walls and a metal bed. There is a screen at the end of the room as well as doorway to a bathroom.

"Here you are..."

"Uh. Thank you for showing me the way down here. Have a good rest of your day, I suppose." Jasper says. He walks into the room and sits on the bed.

She nods, "Food will be served in the evening. Make yourself at home."

"Thank you again for being so kind. Not a lot of people would share this kind of place with a man they've only just met." Jasper says, smiling gratefully

"Anubis Industries is not like most people. Besides, I intend you pay back with your body, should you choose to join us."

"Could you rephrase that please?" Jasper asks, genuinely confused at the statement.

"No."

"Okay then. Thanks for the help..." Jasper says as he lays down on the bed.

It is memory foam.

Jasper puts his hands behind his head and is almost immediately is asleep.

Jasper wakes up in a cold sweat. He panics as he searches his surroundings, making sure the dream wasn't his reality again. Thankfully, he was in the same room he fell asleep in, in the same building in which he finally felt safe for once. But safe has been a relative term for a long time. Reliving the night of the fire was one of the many things he had to look forward to when finally sleeping. The event hadn't traumatized him, but it had stripped him of all of his worldly possessions, save the pants and boots he had been wearing at the time. He sighs, sitting up on the memory foam mattress and looked at the walls and doors of the peculiarly numbered room and took it all in before laying back down again, barely rested from an uneasy sleep.

*The door to Jasper's room slides open, VonKraft enters and smiles. The blonde man in the suit nods his head to Jasper.* I'd like you to join me for breakfast in my penthouse, if you would be so kind. I'm having my personal chief fix up something that I know you'll enjoy.

Jasper sits up again, seeing VonKraft. "It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again sir. For all of your help." He says as he stands, brushing his cloak off, which he surprisingly wore to sleep, along with the rest of his clothes.

It's no problem, my friend. Now, shall we go dine? *VonKraft leads the way, heading to the elevators to his room, and waiting for Jasper to join him*

Jasper follows quickly behind VonKraft, dying for something to eat.

For a second time in a row, Jasper awoke in a place that was beginning to seem more and more familiar as time went on. He had the dream again, the same one as always. Darkness, smoke, heat and finally light. That's how it always had gone for him, every chance he had to sleep. Maybe it would be different, with this new environment, but a little voice in the back of his mind made a point to say "It won't be." He ignored it, laying back in his bed and staring at the ceiling.
